Major League Baseball’s offseason has not been disappointing with a lot of excitement so far.
Even after leading free agent Juan Soto signed with the New York Mets, many other big name players are changing teams either through trade or free agency.
While all the signings have taken place, there are still two star free agents who have yet to sign with the team through the 2025 season.
Free agent shortstop Corbin Burns from the Baltimore Orioles is still available, and third baseman Alex Bregman from the Houston Astros is also available.
MLB Insider Jeff Passan has revealed when these two free agents are likely to sign.
“Alex Bregman and Corbin Burns are likely to sign before Christmas,” Passan said via Channel X’s B/R Walk-Off.

Burns is the best starting free agent who had an exceptional season with the Orioles in 2024.
In 2024, Burns started 32 games where he posted a 15-9 record with a 2.92 ERA and 181 strikeouts in 194.1 innings.
The San Francisco Giants and Toronto Blue Jays are teams known to be interested in Burns, but he will be a name to keep an eye on as we head into the offseason.
Bregman is the other free agent Pasan mentioned, and he also had a solid year with the Astros in 2024.
In 2024, Bregman appeared in 145 games where he hit .260 with 26 home runs, 75 RBI and a .768 OPS.
The Blue Jays are also interested in Bregman, while the Boston Red Sox are also reported to be in pursuit of the third baseman.
