India’s new ODI jersey unveiled by Jay Shah, Harmanpreet Kaur in Mumbai


On Friday, November 29, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the development of a new One Day International (ODI) kit for the Indian National Cricket Team.

The new look ODI jersey was unveiled by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah and Indian Women’s National Cricket Team captain Harmanpreet Kaur.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on its official social media handles shared a video of Jay Shah and Harmanpreet Kaur at the BCCI Headquarters in Mumbai where they are seen unveiling the jersey.

The team’s new ODI jersey is classic blue with sponsor Dream 11 and the name ‘India’ in bold across the front, along with small logos of BCCI and Adidas. The shoulders feature the iconic Adidas stripes printed in a tri-color gradient, making the jersey look absolutely fabulous.

Talking about it in a video shared by BCCI, Harmanpreet Kaur expressed that she loves the new ODI jersey and is excited to wear it in the series against West Indies starting on December 15. Also, the Men’s team will wear it. this form in ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

“It’s an honor to present the jersey today and I’m really happy that we’re the first to wear it against West Indies,” he said.

“I’m really happy, I like the look a lot, especially the tricolor on the shoulder, it looks really nice and I’m very happy that we got a special ODI jersey. It’s always a special feeling to wear the jersey and there’s a lot of hard work and a lot of brains behind it and I hope the Indian fans will wear it too.” and they will be proud.”

India Women are currently in Australia for the ODI series

The Indian Women’s National Cricket Team is currently in Australia for an ODI series that is part of the ICC Women’s Championship.

The opening ODI series will be played on December 5 at the Allan Boundary Grounds in Brisbane, while the second ODI will be played on December 8.

Recently, the BCCI selection committee was forced to make a change in the squad for the matches against Australia as 24-year-old star wicketkeeper Yastika Bhatia was ruled out of the series due to injury.

To deal with her absence, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selection committee decided to add 22-year-old wicketkeeper Uma Chhetri to the squad.

The Indian Men’s team is also in Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. They dominated the first match to start the series on a high.

The Jasprit Bumrah-led team got off to a poor start in the Perth Test as they reached 150.

However, the bowling unit put in an exceptional performance and brought the team back into the game as they bowled out the Aussies for 104.

In the next innings, India piled up 487/6 on the board thanks to a ton from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli as well as an impressive 77 from KL Rahul. 295 won.
