ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has been in the news for the past few days and now the whole development has taken a turn. According to reports in Sports Tak, if the Pakistan Cricket Board refuses to host the tournament, India will be the frontrunner to host the entire tournament, it has been learnt.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has rejected the Indian National Cricket Team to play in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan. This comes after the Indian government did not give the green signal to the team and hence it is learned that a Hybrid model is in discussions.
Reports claim that the International Cricket Council (ICC) has sought an answer from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding holding the Champions Trophy in a hybrid model. However, they have not received any response in this regard so far.
