India has no travel plans to Pakistan? Rajeev Shukla reveals

Rajeev Shukla, Vice-President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), gave a detailed account of India’s participation in the competition. Champions Cup 2025 In Pakistan. He said that they have not made any decision and everything will depend on the government’s decision.

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be held in February-March in Pakistan. One of the major topics revolving around the tournament is the Indian team’s participation in the event, especially when it is scheduled to be played in Pakistan.

The men in blue have not been to Pakistan for a long time. The reason for this is the political tension between the two nations since 2008 after the Mumbai terror attacks. They continued to play bilateral games in 2012–13, but after that that too was discontinued as they only played in the Asia Cup as well as ICC tournaments.

There have been a lot of reports lately claiming that the BCCI does not want to send the team to Pakistan. It has been learned that the tournament could be held in a hybrid model, with the UAE emerging as the main venue for hosting India’s games, as in the Asian Cup 2023.

During the Asia Cup 2023 hosted by the Pakistan Cricket Board, India’s matches will be played in Sri Lanka and other matches will be played in Pakistan. It was learned that a similar event will happen this time. But the PCB quashed all the reports.

They were serious and mentioned that the entire tournament would be held in Pakistan. As reported, the governing body has indicated that they will play the tournament without them even if the Rohit Sharma-led side does not want to travel.
