India announces participation in Tri-Series after Afghanistan boycott Pakistan tour

BTSI expressed solidarity with ACB after death of cricketers in Airstrike

Earlier on Friday, Taliban officials violated a 48-hour ceasefire in Pakistani forces and held a drill as they hit the edges of Afghan territory. This led to the death of three innocent civilians, three of whom were reportedly cricketers.

The ACB confirmed these developments, resulting in the BTSI being moved to express solidarity with the Afghanistan cricket team, expressing grief towards the families of the cricketers killed in the attacks.

After pulling out of the tour to Pakistan, the Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced a Tri-series for the youth side in the same window from November 17 to 30.
