The stage is set for high octane Five-match T20I series between India and New Zealandstarting January 21. As both teams refine their strategies for the upcoming T20 World Cup, fans are in for a treat not only on the field but also on air. The official broadcasters have provided an excellent line-up of commentators and presenters to bring the action to life in multiple languages.
The English tape has a strong line-up of former captains and veteran broadcasters. Leading the charge is the iconic Ravi Shastri, whose voice has become synonymous with the greatest moments of Indian cricket. He is joined by the legendary Sunil Gavaskar and the ‘voice of cricket’ Harsha Bhogle. Bringing a modern perspective to the stand are T20 specialists Robin Uthappa and Abhinav Mukund. International flair is added by New Zealand’s own Simon Doull and the energetic Danny Morrison providing a balanced view of the competition. For the mass Hindi audience, the broadcast brings back the popular duo of Aakash Chopra and Irfan Pathan. Known for their in-depth analysis and engaging ‘Aakash-vani’ style, they will be joined by former players like Navjot Singh Sidhu, Deep Dasgupta, Parthiv Patel and Varun Aaron. Regional language tapes: Tamil and Telugu coverage
To meet the growing demand for localized content, the IND vs NZ 2026 T20I series will feature special panels for Tamil and Telugu viewers:
Tamil Feed: The legendary cast of K Srikkanth and S Badrinath will helm the Tamil broadcast. They are supported by Sadagopan Ramesh, Anirudha Srikkanth and Abhinav Mukund (doing double duty) while Sriram S and KV Sathyanarayanan complete the team.
Telugu Feed: Former chief selector MSK Prasad and veteran coach R Sridhar headline the Telugu panel. Current player Hanuma Vihari will provide fresh technical insights along with Ashish Reddy, T Suman, NC Kaushik and Kalyan Krishna.
