India’s national cricket team arrives in Australia this week with more questions than answers after a home defeat against the Kiwis.
Team India suffered a humiliating defeat at home which broke their 12-year winning streak.
The Ind vs Aus test series scheduled to be held in Perth on November 22 is a tougher test for Team India. Captain Rohit Sharma will miss the first game as he is expecting his second child, while Shubman Gill’s thumb injury complicates the team’s plans.
And with hopes of reaching the final of the World Test Championship (WTC), India face both on-field success and dependence on other teams.
Historically, Australian pitches have been unforgiving for Indian bowlers and given their recent dip in form, the task becomes even more difficult.
