Pebble Beach, Caliph. – there is no range of movement, here in Cycle Points Clubnot for the event this week, Pedestrian cup. 20 players go down on the street a mile or more to spyglass and use the range there. Even in normal conditions, the range here is just a modest steep hill, there is nothing loved. Cypress does not make love. It rests on quiet, timeless, elegant.
Late on Friday afternoon, there was a opening ceremony for this 50 Walker Cup game. Some of the observers were in the verse and other speakers and dignors – President George W. Bush; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ridley; Mr. and Mrs. Vinny Giles, Mr. Andy North, etc. – sat in white folding chairs set on the first road. It was lovely. These are chaotic times all over the world. Everything is well here. Things are okay.
American players are wearing baseball caps with a big W on their fronts. W is for Walker. The event is named for George Walker, the first president of the USA. His nephew became the 41st President of the United States and his great nephew became the 43rd. W. spoke at the opening ceremonies here on Friday. He was funny, convenient and fast.

The group played in. Band bronze del Monte, 50 strong members, each of them a volunteer. Amateur players playing for an amateur golf event. There were trumpet players in local colleges and horns players in the 1970s. They opened with “born to be wild”, all bronze, without vocalists, but it will probably create something for you:
Get your Runnin ‘engine
Go to the highway
Seeking adventure
In whatever comes our way
It was not unclear. It was a congregation.
They were wearing black from head to foot, performing for an impossible collection of club members and amateur players and deepest fans of the game.
The sky was cooling, the 20 players were pretending to be calm and gathered, the dignitaries in their hand were OH-AA suitable.
“We will play” Mr. Save the Queen “,” the leader of the bronze group told Del Monte. “I mean,” God saves the king. We will play the national anthem. ‘”
It was lovely, as the golf is beautiful. It was timeless, as golf is timeless. It was regular. Golf here, in four sessions – Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon; Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon – will display shots ending in the ocean and greens where three strokes are not enough. Disorder regulation will reign, as always happens in Golf. But as Friday closed, everything was in its right place.
