Mcilroy, meanwhile, collided with the first three rounds before making five birds and two eagles on Sunday to shoot a 65-year-old and end up in a tie for the 20th along with åberg.
“There are many conversations and many conversations and many thoughts about Ryder Cup,” Mcilroy said after his last round. “But you still want to play well this week. I saw a brief appearance of this.
