Blaine, minn. – There is a complex problem for Ryder Cup Bubble players. The game opportunities are running out, means Ryder Cup’s hopes have some valuable chances to prove they are worthy of making the team going to Bethpage Black this fall.
Logic says it is best to put your head down and go to work. The results will take care of themselvesThe cliché goes. Easy. Just don’t think about it. Or not?
“You can’t (don’t think about it),” says Gary Woodland, one of the captains of the US Vice President, who is playing 3 million open this week. “On is in your mind. Always is always in everyone’s mind, especially here. Being one of those 12 boys is an honor. I’ve been here 17 years and I’ve only done it once.”
There are only four other events in front of six main players in SH.BA processing They are completed, and then it is up to Keegan Bradley and his vice president to make the captain’s election.
Maverick McNealy (11 in ranking), Sam Burns (15), Wyndham clark (16), Tony arguing (21) and Chris Gotterup (22) are a handful of players in this open week 3 million who are competing for spots.
Bradley is not here, but four of his five captains are – Kevin Kisner, Webb Simpson, Brandt Sueker and Woodland.
Woodland says that group of six (which includes Vice President Jim Furyk) speak daily on their text topic, which is appropriately called “Ryder Cup”. He loves him. That’s how Kisner is.
“We are simply in constant communication seeing things, trying to understand what everyone is looking at, feeling,” Kisner said on Thursday after he shot a four-year-old. “At that one Keegan needs. I don’t know what I’m doing as a vice president, I just try to help as much as I can.”
But first you need a team.
McNealy, in the 18th in the world, is the highest rank player this week, and a former high-ranking amist has not yet made a Ryder Cup team or the President of the Presidents. Burns is only four points behind him, but it may have a slight advantage due to his relationship with Scottie Scheffler. They are the best buds and have the experience to play together at Ryder Cup and the Cup of Presidents.
McNealy has not won this season, but it was the contestant in a collected invitation genesis. He has also been good sneaky – just three cuts lost in 20 starts and six 10 best. He failed to go low as the rest of the field in First round of 3m open On Thursday (even-par 71) but he will still be in the week of bubble conversation, regardless.
“There are still months left,” Woodland says. “There are many boys who still have an opportunity to make the team; we’ll see how you go.”
The US team also has a possible dilemma if Bradley would make the team or be a captain. This is not a US leadership news, they have been thinking about this-since Bradley has been transferred to 10 in the ranking after a 30th place in the open championship, which came a month after he won the travelers.
“I am more impressed with the way he is playing with what to deal with,” Woodland says. “I don’t know if there is anyone else in the world who can play the way he is playing now (while balanced Ryder Cup’s tasks). And the more I have been involved in the last half, I am so strangely impressed with the way he is playing.”
Auto-qualifiers for the US Ryder Cup team will settle after the BMW championship. Bradley will then make his six wild card choices after the tournament championship.
“At the end of the day you are just trying to go out and put yourself in the best position every day,” Woodland says. “If you start thinking about winning and starting to think of all those things your mind is in the wrong place.”
Good luck.
