About 55 miles west of the city of Austin, in the site of the Texas hill, sits Resort Bay Horseshoea widespread property where the most unique golf course in its wide portfolio FORCE Be the one where you only use your putter.
Although others are not slouches.
There is such a challenging that everyone in the ship’s lands, waiters, and even girls in the drink carriage-will warn you of its difficulty. It is another pride in a “million dollar hole” with a 35 -meter waterfall and yet another where LBJ Lake footage continues forever like some postcards you find in a truck stop. (And this is not even including only that of members, which is technically out of bounds to use guests, but still fun to fawn.)
However, the courses here are still larger than restaurants and pools, and all this is still sparkling from a $ 100 million renovation in 2020 that touched every part of the resort, from courses in rooms and more. One of 100 main golf resorts in the USI have long admired Horseshoe Bay Resort from afar. That is to say, until I eventually visited during the spring break, which was a welcome return from the north, where we had no puffy in Minnesota in Minelesota.
But before we go further, let’s go back to where we started, mentioning that unique course, only of the golf that is located in the middle of the entire Whitewater resource.
Forget the windmills and the clowns. This course of placement is the real deal. ⛳
Welcome to the Whitewater course by placing at Horseshoe Bay Resort in Texas: 18 holes, real Bermuda grass, bunkers, waterfalls, and even night golf under lights. Pic.twitter.com/jb6pwcigbc

It is the perfect place to start because, well, is the only course here where households (or non-players) can be collected if they are together and have a round without stress in a course ANYONE can play. And it’s also a rare real thing – it’s one of two courses of the Bermuda bar that decides in the United States.
A mini-Golfi course with a windmill this is not. Here you are playing with the current grass-is yogurt every day-in a PAR-72 course, 1,712-Oborr. Likes like playing golf in a zen garden. There are waterfalls (like, real, large, lawful waterfalls), ponds, springs, streams, more springs, bunkers and so many landscapes that rival Augusta National. Recently they added speakers and music throughout the course and, get this, you can even play it at night, when the colorful lights shine on the property.

The whole course ends around the Whitewater 360 sports club, where you can catch beer, cocktails, pizza and more after your round.
As for the “big” golf courses, there is much to discuss there too. While Summit Summit designed Jack Nicklaus is only for members, there are three courses Robert Trent Jones Sr. are your mood.
Slick Rock is the home of that “Million Dollar hole”, which refers to the 14th, a short principle of dog legs, where your eighth goal should clean the Slickrock Creek and the magnificent man-made waterfall, which you will sail in your carriage.
RAM ROCK is the most difficult course in property-assessment is 75.6-and the appearance of rotation is highlighted by the picturesque island-green par-3 4 and some holes that play along the water or natural exits of the rock.

Finally is Apple Rock, one of the most picturesque courses in the area (some views are better than in the Tee in Par-5 10). It boasts massive changes in height and wonderful views of Lake LBJ, with one of the most memorable holes that is 12th, a short par-3 that is so narrow against water that is felt directly from a video game. (Apple Rock also received a good good golf for a 12 -holes Lonestar last month.)
And since you are wondering yourself, yes, there are restaurants (AKA 19 holes) in every course. The most visible is probably the CAP Rock Clubhouse, which opened in 2021 is in RAM Rock and Apple Rock courses. Here the service is as good as the thin inputs. And while this place is only dinner members, it’s worth trying to fit for lunch.
You will need to go to the main resort (all courses are a short car away) to dinner in spots such as J’s Restaurant & Bar (morning -changing morning potatoes; Barbecue later) or Waterfront Bar and Grill Bar (Lake -based dining and live music) that looks over Lake.

An attractive wedge away from the water bar and the grill is the water floating pool – yes, you read it right – but this is just a snack in the resort Splash Safari Aqua ParkA course of navigating barriers of slides, walls and balance rays that would make every teenager plunge. There are other pools in the country, and the main tower is the only one lit, if this is your thing. You can stay in the main tower or rent villas or houses. They are abundant, modern and clean, and even more are still being built.
And of course, if you need pools, sails in Pontun and Barbecue, you can always play golf. And if those championship courses are not your thing, the word is that it has the right course here.
