No one has won more in professional golf After returning 50 than Bernhard LangerAnd for the most part, its configuration has changed very little in the last 17 years.
For gear nerds, Langer has both one of the most eccentric and elusive bags to see a deep look, given that he has begun to finish his game schedule as He approaches the age of 70.
In this week Dick’s Sporting Goods Open, Golf took an inner look at the Langer bag, which includes clubs from Ping, Tayormade, Tour Edge, Cleveland, Title and Adams (!), Which has not had a considerable tournament in over 10 years.
Keep reading below for a deep diving why Langer chooses each club in his bag.
ball
Titist Pro v1x
Langer’s selection pellets is the Titilist Pro v1x golf ball. The reason the winner of the 67-year-old and 47 times PGA Tour prefers the spinny version of the most popular golf ball is because he, as very pro, has always appreciated the rotation.
For the main players of the game, the spin is a kind like the opposite of cooking. In cooking, you can always add ingredients, but you can never put the jinn again in the bottle when you added a lot. In Golf, Spin is something the best players in the world know how to manage and remove when they need it.
A great example is the change of Rory Mcilroy’s golf ball earlier this year on the Spinny Taylormade TP5 platform, which shows its ability to control the extra rotation provided by the Golf Ball hitting 3/4 shots and knocking.
Langer has never been one of the longest players in the PGA Tour champions, but he has been one of the most accurate and best scramblers, and many have to do with the control offered playing a Spinny golf ball. In 2024, he was second in the accuracy of the direction (79.74 percent), the fifth in the greens in regulations (73.23 percent) and the seventh in clashes (65.09 percent).
Even when he grows up and loses speed, playing a prominent ball allows him to maintain the prohibition power in the greens, making it easier for him to earn his money with his confusion.
Driver
Driver: Ping G400 9.0 (minus minus)
thumbs up: Tour Tour Design Graphite Ad IZ-6 x

Johnny Wunder/Golf
Langer has tried a bunch of drivers over the years, but continues to go back to the G400 because he loves Miss and the rotation does not dive too far.
But the good things have to end, as Langer is in his last head of G400 after his latest cracked range. He was testing an Edge Tour Edge Eproto and had the same Ad Iz-6 shaft tour as his gamer.
Streetwood
3-DRU: Taylormade Stealth 2 Plus 15Ëš (FCT: STD, Sliding Weight: Hart)
thumbs up: Tour Tour Design Graphite ad di-7 s
;)
Johnny Wunder/Golf
Langer carries three different trees with it, a Qi10 tour, a 2 plus steal and a Callaway Elyte I, but it’s Stealth 2 that is on your back this week in New York.
Note how Langer goes from X Flex to his driver in S in his 3-druu. You will see this in its handcuffs as well, but Langer treats each club as an individual tool that means only because something works in one, does not mean it works in another.
Tour Tour Design Graphite Ad Di in Langer’s 3-Woods has a typical section slightly stronger than ad iz in his driver, so one possible reason for Langer can go a milder flexible is to keep that peak height and rotate where he wants.
hybrids
2-Hybrid & 3-Hybrid: Adams Idea Pro Tour Prototype 18Ëš and 22Ëš
Shafts: RT Technologies Midas
;)
Johnny Wunder/Golf
If it is not broken, do not fix it. When Langer was in staff with Adams shortly after his 49th birthday in 2006, he adapted to ideas Pro 2 and 3-Hybrids and he is still using them the same today.
The thing is that Adams has not had a presence in professional golf in over 10 years and RT Technologies has long been immature, so if one of these holidays, Langer would be forced to go elsewhere as they are the only two he has.
irons
4-7-Iron: Tour Edge CBX Forged (W/ Langer Grind and Tungsten Plugs)
8-9-Iron: Tour Edge Pro 723
Pw: Tour Edge Bl Proto
Shafts: Hogan apex (4), the real dynamic temperature of the middle s300 (5-PW)
Progress of attic: 24, 27, 31, 34, 38, 42, 46

As we have pointed out by selecting his axis in 3-Dru, Langer treats each club as an individual tool and this is further evidenced by his mixed group of Tour Edge.
Ben Hogan Apex axis in his 4th is so popular that the benefits of an early generation still have his actions.
Its long and medium -sized irles are custom work thanks to the addition of Tungsten weight ports to reach his favorite and only personalized feeling for the interaction of the ground.
This group also has a good compensation for him, which is something Langer requires from his handcuffs and wedges, but for the most part, this group is set for Launch High, which is why he is using the newest dynamic golden axis.
forest
54: Cleveland 588 RTX
60: Tixist Vokey Wedgeworks prototype
Shafts: TRUE TEMBER DYNAMIC GOLD TOUR ISSUE S400

Johnny Wunder/Golf
Wedges of Langer are total custom work. He loves the largest Cleveland 588 RTX profile and carries two wedges with 56 degrees with different amounts of bullet strips on them for feeling. Both are bent at 54 to add about a significant amount of compensation to match its shackles and then Grind is redefined so as not to lose the franc.
He also has two different Vokey prototypes for his 60 stairs, both with a considerable amount of club prone compensation.

PGA Tour ‘champions The best statistical putter Last year has continued its predominance regardless of age and its detention of anchor at large due to this long 2-topic broom of Odyssey.
If Langer is not in the Golf Course or is practicing, Putter stays in the car or in the closet room. If he goes for lunch, she comes with her. The Holy Shirt never leaves his gaze if he can endure it.
The most delightful thing about this layer is control, there is no special broom control here. It is a simple velvet tours with proud golf for the lower hand and the upper half of another for the upper hand.
Long Uses a different method of broom than most, Very straight stay with a much longer (48 -inch) construction than one of his height (5’8) would be appropriate and he keeps his left elbow stuck and uses his right arm to drive the blow.
grip
;)
Johnny Wunder/Golf
Langer uses a tour only Golf Pride V55 The clip (non-kordon) of the ribbons and places the rib at 7 o’clock, making the syllable stretch aid to the top appear at 1 o’clock. This may seem strange to most, but he does this because the ribs then fit into the salvation of his hand.
He is afraid of a blow and had a tendency to make his control stronger, so he moves the rib to close it to his rescue and help him tovet the club.
