Imam-ul-Haq, who beat the Pakistan National Cricket Team, made a public statement. He accused the team management and board of injustice against him.
Imam-ul-Haq’s comments during a live television show when he was asked to give a one-word answer. The left-hander was first asked if the team had been unfair to him, and he replied, “Yes.” He was then asked if he would prove to be a game-changing captain Pakistan in the present case, he answered “No”.
The Imam then agreed with the host and he asked whether Inzamam-ul-Haq was a better captain than Misbah-ul-Haq. In the end, they asked him whether Babar Azam should leave the opening place and get married. The opening batter started to laugh, but continued to say, “No.”

Imam-ul-Haq has been removed from the Pakistan team
Imam’s future with Pakistan National Cricket Team looks very dark. The opener, who used to be a regular in the team in Tests and ODIs, has been completely sidelined and there is little chance of him making a comeback, especially with others in the corner.
Imam-ul-Haq was removed from the team after a series of low scores. He came under the firing line and was asked to warm the bench during the ICC World Cup 2023. He started the tournament for the team, but was unable to go as he struggled in the first few games.
At a time when Pakistan was also struggling to progress, Imam-ul-Haq was made the scapegoat and removed from the team. Abdullah Shafiqa was introduced in his place and along with right-hander Fakhar Zaman, he closed Imam’s door by winning opportunities.
While his place in the ODI team came under the scanner, things got worse for him when he was dropped from the Test. The blow came during the series against the Australian National Cricket Team, which Pakistan lost 3-0.
Imam played the first two games and then struggled to play short ball before being replaced by Saim Ayub in the XI in the final games of the series. Since then, he has not made the team in the longest format of the game.
Imam-ul-Haq was last seen in action in Champions Trophy 2024
Imam was last seen in the 2024 Champions Trophy in Pakistan’s domestic circuit. He had a decent outing with the bat for the Lions and finished the tournament as the leading run-getter for his side. He hit some crucial shots for his team and strengthened his case for a comeback.
Imam played 4 games and scored an average of 53 and scored 212 runs. He also scored three half-centuries in the tournament with a best of 78. His performance would certainly make the selectors think about him, especially with the Champions Trophy around the corner.
