I’m not playing Roland Garros

Playing tennis does Alizé Cornet Feel like a teenager again.

Returning the time of return with her return to tennis, the 35-year-old Frenchman says she will not play Roland Garros in May.

“I will not play Roland Garros,” said Cornet head of her return.

Former Bota No. 11 Cornet is committed to competing in WTA 125 in La Bisbal D’Amporda followed by WTA 250 next month in Rouen.

“It’s a very special tour for me because I haven’t played a lot of tennis in the last 10 months,” Cornet said. “Just the last two months, I got ready for this tournament and some others.

“But yes, it feels very special and I like the areas a lot, I think it’s very beautiful. My first time in Costa Brava, so I hope I will have time to explore and enjoy the place.”


Sorted no. 532 Before her return, Cornet said that the key to this return is to enjoy herself and her time in court.

“I was really trained to be ready for this tournament, for my return,” Cornet said. “And now my tennis is going very well, but I think the most important thing is to enjoy my time in court.

“I like to be in trial, smile all the time, I feel like young. I hope I can have the same mental state during my match.”

Cornet also plans to play the qualification for WTA 1000 events in Madrid and Rome.
