“I’m coming to hurt something”: David Morrell’s intense motivation for Imam Khatav fight

David Morrell says his loss of David Banavidez “woke me up”, and he was motivated for his salvation fight against Imam Khataev on Light Heavyweight on July 12 in Queens, New York.

Morrell (11-1, 9 CO’s) has worked on the mistakes he made against benavidez, and is ready to show a new version of himself against the unbeaten Olympic Olympic Olympic 2020 (10-0, 9 COs) in their 10-Round Undercard fight on Dazn ppv.

If Morrell could record a knockout of Khataev, it would be impressive, because he is seen as the next betterbiev in the eyes of some people. He has the power and the amateur tribal tree to be a difficult opponent for Morrell.

Benavidez is not going to be in a hurry to fight Morrell again after the punishment he fought in that battle. He looked like he got the worst of it at the end. If Morrell makes a few adjustments by increasing his pecutive production, he will probably stop benavidez because he has the better pungent.

Morrell is unlikely to have a chance to fight the winner of the Bivol- against Betterbiev fight. David Banavidez is next in line. However, if Morrell looks good to beat Imam Khataev and get another good win under his belt, he will be able to challenge a world title.

BIVOL AND BETTERBIVE GETS OLD. It is not expected to stay much longer. If Morrell can’t shoot after one of the two before they retire, he will still be able to fight for the titles as soon as they are evacuated. This could mean a re -broadcast against benavidez.
