On June 27, 2025, Bill Delinger, one of the best referees in America and one of our best coaches at the age of 91.
The bill was three times the Olympic, and in 1964, Billabler took the Olympic bronze in 5000 mm, was inferior to the American Bob Schul, who took the gold. A real high point for the remote runners in the United States, the bill was trained at Oregon University. He was one of the sports athletes, Ruddi Chapa, Alberto Salazar, Don Charto Martin, Jim Mart and Nick Rogers, one of his last athletes.
Bill Delinger was a good man, funny and charming. His athletes have respected him and helped when age and health began to challenge him.
Please keep the late coach Bill Delinger to keep your thoughts and prayers, his family, friends and athletes. His legacy of his honest run, heavy training and centered race will live.

This piece was made during the US 2021 Olympics in June 2021. Bill Delinger is a coach and athlete, a real leader of men. His innovations in the course changed in modern distance. His collaborations with Bill Delinger changed the descendants of the American Distance Runners and today affect them.

The final bonus visit took place on Tony and once again, as Delhiye staff asked us to bring bottled water after the trials were home.
During the final farewell, the coach Delhi was heavy, because I told him that next year we will see him in the 2022 world championships.
He answered with that positive glow.
