IBF Junior Middleweight Champion Bakhram Murtazaliev proclaimed WBC and WBO 154-Pond Champion Sebastian Fundora for a uniform fight after his fourth round victory over Chordal Booker last Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Zayas or Murtazaliev?
Murtazaliev would be a good option for Fundora if he wants a way to swing his WBO mandate-out-of-day, Xander Zayas. He can follow the unification route; There is no way the WBO can deprive him. However, I do not know why Fundora would avoid a poor puncher like Zayas, which is at the level of Booker Power-wise, but with more smoothness, in favor of a risky fight against Bakhram. The move would not make sense.
Fundora said last week that he was interested in renewing talks for a fight against Errol Spence if he still wanted to fight. This is a much greater money fight for defending the few well-known 22-year-old Xander.
