Taking to his Instagram Stories, Kohli shared an honest and deeply personal review of the film after watching it. His words reflected genuine admiration for both the stories and the performances.
“I watched the movie today and I dare say I have never experienced such a cinematic experience in India. It brought out every emotion and I didn’t flinch once for almost 4 hours.” Kohli wrote, emphasizing the engaging nature of the narrative.
Ranveer Singh gets special praise from King Kohli
He went on to applaud director Aditya Dhar’s vision, calling his work a reflection of “talent and conviction”. Kohli didn’t shy away from appreciating the film’s cast as well, but gave special praise to Ranveer.
While acknowledging the collective efforts of the cast, Kohli singled out Ranveer for what he described as a career-defining performance.
“@adityadharfilms your talent and confidence is reflected in what you create. Hats off to you. You are a genius. Although all the actors are great in their roles BUT @ranveersingh after this movie you have reached a different level and your performance was amazing. Absolutely WOW,” Kohli added.

A visibly impressed Dhar called Kohli “a legend of a generation” and revealed that the accolade meant something special to him. He also shared a personal note recalling that he has been a fan of Kohli since his days at the U-19 World Cup.
“Woowww! I can’t believe this is happening Virat, this really means a lot. I’ve been a fan since my younger days of 19WC. To see this kind of show of love for a once-in-a-generation legend just makes a difference. Every time you step out, you tour the country, it inspires us, in our own little way, we’ll always try to make India proud with our films.” Aditya wrote.

Its sequel, Dhurandhar The Revenge, which released on March 19, took things to another level.
