The Open Campaign of Frances Tifoe of the US ended in the heart on Friday with a 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (7) loss to Struff Jan-Lennard in Grandstand. The American, the 17th, then admitted that he was in a loss for both his performance and for what comes next.

“I don’t know how the rest of my season will go. I have no idea,” Tiefoe said. “I see Davis Cup, Laver Cup, Tokyo, other tours. I have no idea what the rest of the year looks like. I don’t know what to do, I don’t know how to go out, I don’t know how to play, I don’t know how to recover from this, be honest with you.”
Tifoe said that the ancestor played significantly faster than Arthur Ashe or Louis Armstrong Stadium, and that capitalized lid. “It was a lot, very soon today … I was late for everything. It will be hard to swallow how I played today and being outside the US Open this early.”

The loss marks the earliest TIFOE appearance in Flushing Meadows since 2019. He now owns a 24-11 life record in US Open, a tour where he reached the semifinals just two years ago.
