Daniil Medvedev took a look at Carlos AlcarazNetflix’s documentary “My Way” was recently published and Russia did not take a long time to realize that he did not want any part.
“Camera is all of you, all day. That’s not me,” Medvedev said. “When I am in court, I try to sign a lot of autographs. Even if you are in official hotels or you are out on vacation, many people camp out of the hotels. And it is fine, I sign, I take pictures.”
Russia says he likes to maintain clear lines of demarcation between his professional and his personal life, and especially now that he has children. He does not want to worry when he is in his very valuable personal space.
He expressed similar feelings when he spoke of the netflix series “Point of rest” in 2024. “I didn’t look at it and will probably not because I would probably be frustrated,” he said with a smile. “I don’t have much to add because, yes, the series is not real life.”
It is a topic that Medvedev has given him many thoughts. He is one of the most interesting personalities on the tournament, but he can be controversial. In any case, he is happy to keep the cameras away now.
“When I am having dinner, when I am with my family, I do not (sign autographs) he said.” People are like, “Oh, let’s take a photo,” when I’m eating dinner. And I’m like, ‘Nope’. After dinners it is okay. I can be pretty rude with my personal space. “

Giving a documentary crew full access to his life would be very crazy for the former Bounty No.1.
“If I give it to the documentary, I will get nuts, especially when you give your permission for them, they want more,” he said. “They want to film your daughters. They want to film your wife, they want to ask them questions. They want to ask you more about your personal life.”
Medvedev loves his fans, but he does not want them to spend in line with him and his family.
“They want to know who you date, what do you have for dinner, if you shower for 5 or 15 minutes. But you have to keep something for yourself, otherwise they take your whole life away. So that’s probably why I will never make a documentary but let’s never say.”
