Like Woo Kim has been here before, making history in Par-3 in big golf tours. Like last year, in the open championship of 2024, when Kim awarded the 238-Oborri PAR-3 17 hole in the Royal Troon during the third round. This set a record as the longest hole in the main history.
Then on Friday, at the PGA 2025 championship? Kim broke her again.
Playing 6th 6th 6th with 252-Obor Hollow Quail ClubKim caught a 5-tree, hit a pallor in the center of green and looked at his ball land, jumped and rolled, finally falling into the cup for an ace and record for the longest hole in a large (again).
He threw his club into the air and ran out of Tee box shouting.
According to PGA Tour, Kim’s six Aces in PGA Tour Play have been the best since 2016. He also becomes the first player with a hole in one in a major in the back-back seasons since Scott Hoch, who made it in PGA and 2002 US 2001.
But even the best news about Kim? Pro 29-year-old fired a seven under 64 and sits in a tie for the second after 36 holes. He is six under the two back of the Jhonatan Vegas leader. Scottie Scheffler is groaning three of the superiority while a Other stars were sent home early.
“Just just Friday,” Kim said. “I just played two good rounds, but still a lot of work to do. Then especially the weekend will be hotter and then tense. I will just try to play my golf and just try to have fun.”
