This week the stars of the PGA Tour are in the Bahamas for the 2024 World Heroes Challenge hosted by the Tiger Woods. World Hero Challenge Preview
The official tournament season has ended, making the World Hero Challenge an unofficial event. It also features a small field of 20 players. So why waste time watching this fat season tournament? Because those 20 players are among the best players on the planet.
None more so than the world number 1, betting favorite and reigning champion Scottie Scheffler. Scheffler collected a remarkable seven wins in 2024, but he preceded them by one won at Hero last December.
He will be joined by other top-10 players Ludwig Aberg AND Wyndham Clarkealong with the stars Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Tom Kim and captain of the 2025 USA Ryder Cup Keegan Bradley. Five million dollars will be on the line, with $1 million going to the winner.
WHEREAS Woods will not play as he recovers from recent surgeryhe will be present fulfilling his duties for the organization of the tournament.
