The PGA Tour’s season-opening move to Hawaii continues this week in Honolulu. The Sony Open marks the first full-field tournament of the year, and a long list of proven Tour pros will battle it out for the $1.566 million winner’s prize.

But there is only one player in the field who can already call himself a winner in 2025: Hideki Matsuyama. 2021 Masters Champion set a scoring record with his win at last week’s Sentryand now he’s in Honolulu looking for his 12th career Tour victory and second in a row.
He will be joined in the field by Tom Kim, Keegan Bradley, Corey Conners and more, and the action begins with the opening round on Thursday.
