A great couple of years beckon to American “soccer”.
In 2026, the United States, Canada and Mexico will host the biggest event in sports: the World Cup. Before that, however, the US will host what could be described as a test event.
Appropriately, FIFA chose to select the States as the destination to host the first a bigger and better iteration of the Club World Cup. This event will no longer be tucked away towards the end of the calendar year, but instead will be held over a month-long period in the summer.
32 clubs will meet in the USA between the 2024/25 and 2025/26 campaigns for a chance to boast ‘world champion’ status. No doubt the novelty of this occasion will facilitate a lot of excitement, and there is sure to be a buzz on the ticket sales front.
11 cities and 12 stadiums throughout the country will host next summer’s tournament, and here are all the details on how you can get your hands on tickets for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Fans are not yet able to purchase tickets for the tournament, but can register their interest in tickets via FIFA website.
Registration means you will receive the latest ticket application information directly from FIFA.
With tickets not yet released for the 2025 Club World Cup, prices are currently unknown. However, they will differ depending on the match and the stadium where it is played.
The annual Intercontinental Cup provides a point of comparison. Only two stadiums in Qatar are being used for the smaller tournament, with the most expensive tickets priced at 1,000 Qatari Royal (£216) and the cheapest just 40 Qatari Royal (£9).
However, with tournament expansion, format changes and the use of more venues in 2025, these prices may not be a reliable measuring stick.
If you can’t get tickets to see any of the action live next summer, fear not.
FIFA has announced DAZN as the exclusive global broadcaster for the 2025 Club World Cup. The streaming service will show all 63 matches for free on all its platforms, and is expected to sub-license the rights to local broadcasters in live for selected matches.
