A win at the Tech World Championship would earn you $1.296 million, as this article below describes, among other articles.
But would he? average?
Justin Lower can tell you all about it. After the third round on Saturday at El Cardonal in Diamantewas the 35-year-old professional asked the question. Below is his response.
“Everything. I don’t know,” Lower said, choking up. “Yeah, I mean, there’s 18 holes tomorrow on a really good golf course. I think the wind is going to stay low again so I have to go out and basically shoot probably somewhere between five and nine-under again. I mean, that’s the way the results are here. If the wind blows, the results will be low. Yes, a win would mean everything. I still have a job to do.”
Why did you get excited about this question?
“I have no idea, honestly,” Lowe said. “I told myself I would stop doing that in interviews.
“But I just work hard at this game, I work hard at it. Sometimes I think I would never have made it this far, and I’ve been through so much in my life and it’s just, I don’t know, it’s just so much fun. It’s not sad that I’m crying. I don’t know, it’s just fun. I love being out here.
“I hate all the changes they are making. This is another topic I could talk about for an hour. It seems like every time I do something good, they make a difference.
“Yeah, it just means a lot to me. I just want to see – I just want to see how well I can do and prove to myself that I can do something in this game.”
