The Valsspar championship went down to the wire on Sunday.

Victor Hovland arrived at the Valsspar 2025 Championship at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort Lost.
The champion of the FedEx Cup of 2023 had lost three consecutive cuts while desperately tried to rediscover the shake that had it as high as no. 3 in the official ranking of world golf.
Hovland found something this week in the Cooperhead course. As the Norwegian star is still uncomfortable with his swinging, he found himself Entry to the last round connected to the lead with Jacob Bridgeman and Nico Echavarria.
Looking for his first victory since the tournament championship in 2023, Hovland hoped the swinging felt that he worked would be good enough to get it throughout the finish line on Sunday.
“I mean it’s fun to be in the quarrel, but it’s a little more stressful when you don’t feel super comfortable for the ball,” said Hovland Saturdya. “But man, it’s a pleasure to see some strokes go inside and see the ball end up near the hole and put some good results there.”
Hovland has been in the desert por enough time. He had only two endings of Top-10 last year and was not over in the top 20 places this season entering the week.
But Cooperhead course decides well for Hovland to play well while still trying to find Old Victor Hovland.
“Golf golf, it’s a crazy game,” Hovland said. “I think just for this type of golf course really fits me now. It’s not like you have to bomb drivers everywhere, it’s more of a positioning course. I feel like I can hit some nice iron shots that end up near the hole because I haven’t been shaking what is great with all that are great.”
