There is already so much hype and anticipation for the 2024 WNBA season. But until then, all eyes will be on training camp and final rosters.
If you’re a new fan, or an OG who needs a refresher, here’s everything you need to know about training camp.

When does the training camp begin?
The training camp will start on April 28. The players need to shut down and get ready for the preseason, which starts on May 3rd.
How it works
This year’s WNBA draftees, along with current players and those who have been invited to camp, will arrive at their respective teams and begin training. Everyone is competing for a place.
Who is on the training camp roster?
Teams have already started releasing their training camp rosters. We will update them below.
What will happen next?
Not everyone will make the official team roster, as Atlanta Dream’s Laeticia Amihere shares on her TikTok. There are 144 places in the league, with a maximum of 12 places available for each of the 12 teams.
The cutoff date for final lists is May 13.
What if my loved one dies?
Just because a player is delisted doesn’t mean their dreams are over or that you should stop supporting your loved ones. Some choose to go overseas, and even after the regular season starts, there are also difficult contracts.
