How Brad Binder can learn from ‘special’ Pedro Acosta at KTM in 2025 MotoGP season


Ahead of the 2025 MotoGP season, KTM has quietly assembled one of its most impressive and exciting rider pairings.

Pedro Acosta He is the brightest young star in the sport right now and will be joined by the experienced and consistent Brad Binder.

Recent financial difficulties have appeared. KTM Heavy and there’s a chance they could fall off the grid at the end of the 2026 season.

The manufacturer is owed more than £1.6 billion (€2 billion) and must find ways to cut costs before thousands of workers lose their jobs.

Motorsport is an expensive habit and one that can save you a lot of money if you cut it.

There are 23 investors interested in taking over the Austrian company, which could help save the day for their work in and away from MotoGP.

Brad Binder expects to ‘learn’ a lot from Pedro Acosta at KTM.

KTM decided to introduce the Acosta in 2024 after confirming a number of Ducati non-rider platforms.

His performance on the Satellite Tech3 bike impressed Ducati’s Francesco Bagnaia, who had been battling him throughout the season.

If KTM can make an unbroken run in 2025, Acosta may be rightly called a dark horse candidate.

Binder mentioned MotoGP’s can only be one. He is delighted to be able to learn from his new team-mate as they have worked together since the Thai Grand Prix.

“It’s great to have a fast team-mate and Pedro is the next step. The way he rides a bike is very unique and I have a lot to learn from him.

Pete Berrier believes Acosta’s early successes were dangerous for KTM. As he put the rest of the grid on hgih warning regarding his abilities.

Losing him puts them at a higher risk, but they were able to retain his services and can look forward to handling his talent over the next two seasons.

Michele Piro wants to challenge Acosta to Ducati If the team drops the grid, it will be a huge coup for the Italian team.

Given their recent dominance, it is not out of the question to challenge Baghnia and win more trophies with them if he makes the move.

Acosta may worry about KTM in 2025. After Francesco Guidotti said that he would not focus on performance this year, a comeback could be on the way.
