Oakmont, without. – Hello, friends and happy Saturday from We open! Has been a random day here in Oakmont. I made the 40-minute journey to the media center to get some gifts of my father’s day (my father will receive us open goods for the fourth consecutive year), I looked at the final bands warmed up and then followed the round of Victor Hovland and Adam Scott. I have also improved my golf course photography game very much this week, which I am feeling especially proud of.
Had a small portion of players who lost cutting in place in Oakmont Saturday. Justin Thomas, Alistair Docherty and a small part of the amateurs were among them. I love when amateurs return to the course even if they are not removing it. Who knows if they will remove it again in a major again? Take advantage of free lunch and inside-out passage!
He may have lost the cut on Friday evening, but that did not keep Justin Thomas not to enter a session on Saturday afternoon. Probably probably easier to stay in Pittsburgh for a day or two extra days than going home to Florida, just to go back to the Connecticut for the traveler championship. And why not take advantage of Oakmont practice objects while you can?
Scottie Scheffler’s son
Probably the most humble moment of the day came when the 14 -month old bennett villain was seen making solid contacts in the range in Oakmont. He may not be able to walk yet, but he has definitely chosen some of his father’s golf customs.
He is already making solid contacts, and the fact that he is constantly surrounded not only by world no. 1, but Ted Scott, Randy Smith and his father’s Paul Sam Burns means only one thing: getting Scheffler Golf will last more than one generation.
Give her a few months and the bennett will have Scottie’s feet. And he will have a better pace than all of us.
The unique approach does the Griffin on social media
As some players try to spend less time on social media as their careers progress, we open open Ben griffin does the opposite. Many are giving their Instagram entrances to social media agents or managers, but not the double winner of PGA Tour. Griffin and his fiancé, Dana Myeroff, receive the editing curves and posting their life clips on the way to Tiktok, an app that I would concrete not many other tournaments have not even downloaded.
Griffin posted seven tiktok videos from Oakmont this week. Let’s take a look.
A lot of Griffin’s content this week is focused on the conditions of the Oakmont course, but that’s not everything he does. He often makes “day in life” video so that others normal people can see what it is like to travel from PGA Tour Stop to PGA Tour Stop. He also continues to be updated in Tiktok’s trends, as seen from this video he called Caddy and his coach to say good night, which many gen-z’ers have made in the application.
Professional golfists, here is my prayer for you: Download Tiktok. It is where all young people are. Way is less toxic than Twitter, and you don’t even have to see if you don’t want (though there is a good chance you will be absorbed in a hole in a random theme). You can create videos like Ben Griffin, share them and sign up for the day. Are low shares! And you will increase your fan base.
An unexpected tiktok find
Talking about Tiktok, there is another player I have seen throughout the application recently, not by myself doing. Girls all over the world are making the slo-motion edits of another open US competitor: Victor Hovland. And he may not be too far from learning about them.
He was just telling the boy near me that Victor Hovland has taken over General Mr. It turns out to be his agent!

I can only imagine the content these Tiktok creators will have if the hovland makes it Sunday in Oakmont.
