Arnold opens Britain’s campaign with Medal of F46.
Hollie Arnold lost to Bronze medal at F46 Javelin in New Deli (27 September).
Arnold opened the competition in the best throw at 41.94 m to attract the lead. But the Nidelner of the Netherlands, in the fourth round, received the best of the best of 43.74 m to win gold.
In the eighth world championship, Arnold consistently threw more than 40 m, but Uzbekistan’s athlete, Shahnakhon Yigitalia, looks only 3 cm before him.
After taking the last nine months after the Paris Paralympoo, Arnold mixed emotions, saying:
“During the day and, unfortunately, the girls have thrown a little far from me. But I went out and was consistently thrown.
“I was absolutely broken after Paris.
