One of the reasons I have been against liv is that professional golf is not big enough to be shredded in separate products. Our attention space is getting shorter and golf viewing is not popular as to grow when talent is divided into two sections.
On this occasion, most of the eyes are fixed to certain PGA Tour diplomas and events. Beyond that, not many people are watching Pro Golf.
This has created an interesting situation with many liv players.
Many of these people were among the most visible characters in the game. Now, in some cases, they have faded while playing their golf in relative anonymity and then barely whispering in their main beginnings (if they even qualify for them).
For whatever reason – whether money, lack of car, damage, age or something else – these boys have fallen off the map. It’s a shame because golf is better When these players are in the mix.
Here are seven boys we all forget. For each player, I include their data golf map to show the hits earned numbers after their battles.
1. Dustin Johnson

Niceman nice that Dustin Johnson took to celebrate with Panters in Florida while they won another Stanley cup, Because he will not remove any significant trophy soon.
Just over four years ago, Johnson was the number 1 player in Golf Data. He had just won the 2020 masters and was playing some of the best golf of his life.
He is now good outside the 150s (a reminder that takes into account the entire golf of the tournament played, including Liv). Johnson has lost the cut in six of the past eight diplomas. And he is not even playing well in Liv’s events.
I get that DJ just turned 41 years old. I understand he got a cash load. I understand he has a family. I understand he won two degrees and reached a lot in the game already.
But man, he really fell from a rock.
2. Cameron Smith

This is deeply disturbing for many reasons. In fact, it hurts much more than anyone else on this list.
Cam Smith won the 2022 open championship in epic fashion. He was a five-top player in the world who did the job done with his short game more than the raw power. It took some time to develop in a senior player who was admirable. Smith was an ardent, aggressive and fantastic competitor to see.
Just three years later, he is a mirror. Smith has lost the last four main cuts. He is a Top-20 borderline player … in Liv. It makes him a top-70 border player in the world.
Smith is nine years younger than Johnson. He may still have excellent golf in his future, but we haven’t seen him for a long time now. It feels like you are sending it by mail these days.
3. Brooks koepka

While Koepka won the PGA 2023 championship after moving to Liv, he has now gone nine consecutive degrees without a Top-10 finished.
This is hard to imagine for a guy rising in almost every major in the calendar.
It is true that Koepka was never a prevailing week of week in the tournament, but the golf he has played over the past three years is, in general, the worst of his career since he exploded in 2016.
His viewing down to no. 72 in Golf Data is depressing. And without being a factor in the diplomas, there is not much reason to think about the koepka.
He returned 35 recently, but could still remain a little gas in the reservoir. Let’s hope there are some there.
4. Phil Mickelson

I hesitated to put Phil here because of His presence on youtube and strange skill To make hot the hot more dumb.
However, it is on a relative scale here. Is more for exposure than statistics.
Mickelson won the PGA 2021. He was in charge of the world. Funny enough, he was not playing good golf (at all) that season, but he caught lightning in a bottle and was rightly celebrated to be the oldest golf player ever won a major.
Then he left the deep end. In 2022, it was a year of Phil embarrassing himself.
Then he appeared in the 2023 masters and… almost won? Wait, this may not be right.
But since then, he has fought to remain important. In the course, he has no Top-40 conclusions in his 10 past beginnings. On the course, the average golf fan has lost a lot of respect for him. Now he is going deep into the brain of political discourse on X (Twitter), which, of course, is.
Either way, everyone is thinking of less than it used to be.
5. Talor Gooch

Oh, yes! Remember it?
At a time when Gooch left for Liv, he had built himself on a top 30 player in the world. Was he a superstar at the level of the previous three names on this list? No. Was he a strong player who could make the tournament and compete for Ryder Cup teams? Yes.
GOOCH is a remote reminder at this point. He is out of 100 leaders in Golf Data and has only competed in one major two years. Is he a good Livi player? Not in particular.
He took the money and continued with his life.
6. Louis oosthuizen

I’m old enough to remember a time (way, way, again in 2021) when there was oostuizen THREE Three-three best the main conclusions in a single season. He should have won US Open that year.
That season put it up to no. 3 in Golf Data.
Since that year, which was its last in the tournament, here are the main beginnings of Oosthuizen: WD-T60-cut-T23-cut. He is now out of 100 of the money.
Like Gooch, he is barely starting a great start. The only difference is that Oosthuizen can play the open championship until he is 60 due to his past sample status.
In justice, Oosthuizen is ready to return 43. Similar to some older boys I decided not to put this list (Ian Poulter, Paul Casey, Sergio Garcia, etc.), it made sense for Oosthuizen to board the sunset in Liv.
7. A cavet.

We are reaching a little deeper for the latter, but it is worth noting.
When Liv started, Kevin was no. 37 in the world. He played in all four diplomas and had several Top-25 conclusions in 2022.
We have not played in a major since then. He has not even approached a liv event. And he is far from 200 leaders in the world.
This is a guy who won five times on the tournament and did a phenomenal job to keep his card every season.
Nowadays, he would not even be able to do it. Honestly, I have completely forgotten Kevin still played Golf. I saw his name doing research on this story and had a quick reaction on how to see an old photo of a high school friend.
What do you think about these players? Can any of them get things back?
