Hearn calls his choice of Padley (15-0, 4 food) one of “The great saving‘Because it keeps Shakur (22-0, 10 COs) on Saturday’s map. Interestingly, British fans love this choice, showing how different their taste of Americans is. “I have a little Irish blood in me, and I hate the choice. The basic problem is that Padley’s career is horrible, filled with Ham & Eggers from top to bottom. It’s shockingly bad.
This man is easily the worst possible opponent who can be selected from the top 15, and Hearn fills himself at the back to find him.
American fans on social media do not have the same enthusiasm as Hearn, and regard the 29-year-old Padley as a terrible choice for Shakur and unworthy to even use the opponent for one of the top level contenders. You can’t match Padley against one of the top five contenders and expect him to see the final bell.

I don’t know how Hearn can have this kind of enthusiasm for such a poor choice of opponent for Shakur. This is the type of opponent that Shakur would have had in his first Pro fight, but not with him who fought for the Tank Davis pay day.
