Promoter Eddie Hearn predicts that Anthony Joshua “dissect” Jake Paul in their fight on December 19 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
Hearn predicts total collapse
The way Matchroom promoter Hearn talks, former two-time heavyweight champion Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) Paul is going to be reduced to nine basic elements of the human body in their eight-round headliner on Netflix.
Disney Star to Giant Slayer?
Hearn had a wild, crazy look in his eyes when he talked about what Joshua would do to Paul on December 19th. He absolutely needs AJ to win, but also looks like pure gold in his natural, native form in this fight. Since Jake is a former Disney star and YouTuber, it is unfathomable that Joshua could lose or struggle to win.
“Friday night in Miami, a very small matter of Anthony Joshua dissecting and smashing him, Jake Paul, in Miami,” promoter Eddie Hearn said iFL TVpredicting a total annihilation of Jake Paul by heavyweight contender Anthony Joshua on December 19th.
Joshua’s fragile chin question
It is impossible to predict how Joshua will perform in this fight because he looked so bad in his last fight against Daniel Dubois. It was over a year ago on September 21, 2024, and he looked worn. Dubois, flawed as a pro from the start, had an easy time, stopping Joshua four times before knocking him out in the fifth.
Whatever punch resistance Joshua had in the early days of his career, it was gone in that fight. It was embarrassing to see Dubous send him to the canvas in the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th rounds. With AJ having been out of the ring for 15 months, he couldn’t have gotten any better.
Jake’s training team will probably have a good plan in place for him to go on the attack right away on December 19th, unload everything in his arsenal and bet that AJ’s chin is still fragile from his last fight.
