HEARN: KEYSHAWN Davis – Andy Cruz is a “big struggle to make”

Eddie Hearn says it eats Keyshawn Davis, after losing four times against Kuban Andy Cruz in the amateurs, and he believes he will prove that he is the better fighter in the benefits.

Davis repeatedly refused to fight against Cruz and said he was under him and that he had nothing to benefit from fighting against him. It sounds just like old -fashioned, complete fear of Keyshawn’s side, not to be beaten and dropped his career apart before it first began.

Cruz’s threat

Hearn feels that a fight between highly acclaimed lightweight contender Keyshawn (12-0, 8 COs) and Cruz (4-0, 2 food) would have a major build-up due to their rivalry.

He says if Davis won the champion Denys Berinchyk WBO lightweight title next month, he might want to fix things with Cruz.

Andy is fighting against Omar Salcido (20-1, 14 COs) tonight in a 10-round co-function on the Diego Pacheco vs. Steven Nelson card at Las Vegas Cosmopolitan. If Cruz looks vulnerable in this fight, it might give Keyshawn courage to fight him finally.

Keyshawn said this week that his focus is to win the BBO belt of Berinchyk, and then looking for a unification fight against IBF champion Vasily Lomachenko. He believes that Top Rank can face that battle for him.

It does not happen, but it is Keyshawn’s desperate hope. He will not fight against his friend, Shakur Stevenson, and Gervonts Davis is not going to waste his time fighting against him. It makes cruz.

“If I were the highest position, I wouldn’t have looked at Andy Cruz because you would use the excuse: ‘Ah, no one knows who he is yet. He had only five battles. ‘ Let’s be honest; The build -up, the rivalry, history is a great struggle to make, ”said Eddie Hearn Battle hype When asked if he wanted to fight between lightweight contender Andy Cruz and Keyshawn Davis in 2025.

“I know Keyshawn, he is a competitor, and by the way, he has improved. He has always been a big fighter. He is very good, Keyshawn, and maybe he can beat Andy Cruz. He (Davis) lost four times against him in the amateurs. He has never been close to beating him, and everyone will say, “Yes, but the amateurs are the amateurs.”

“Yes, it is, but he (Keyshawn) has never beaten him, and it will eat him. I know Keyshawn is a winner, and it will eat him. He will want to correct this in the benefits. So, he will (Davis) (WBO lightweight champion Denys) will beat Berinchyk (on February 14) in style, but who knows? Andy must win (against Omar Salcido). It’s not an easy fight, ”Hearn said.
