Ben Whittaker (9-0-1, 6 COs), a new match room box, will fight for the vacant WBC Silver Light Heavyweight title for little well-known Benjamin Gavazi (19-1, 13 COs) on November 29 in Birmingham, England. The event will be shown Live on dazn.
Matchroom holds a press conference this Friday, October 17, in London to discuss the signing of a long -term agreement with their company by Olympic silver medalist Whittaker of 2020. In addition, the press conference will be used to talk about Ben’s fight against Gavazi on November 29 for the vacant WBC Silver 175-Pond title.
Benavidez fighting on the horizon
With Whittaker behind the WBC Silver Belt, the promoter Eddie Hearn puts him in the drive to challenge “the Mexican Monster” David Benavidez for his WBC light heavyweight belt. What a fight it would be.
Pressure fighter benavidez’s volume punch is about the smooth, smart movement of whittaker. It will be an interesting battle to see if Ben can neutralize the strengths of benavidez by moving and clicking him. There is no sense in Hearn waiting two to three years to make this game.
