Devin Haney posted on X today and said he is ‘Tired“From Theofimo Lopez and his “Racist remarks.” He asked Turki Alalshikh to make the fight between them. Haney wants to put Lopez (22-1, 13 COs) in his place.

Unfortunately for Haney (32-0, 15 KO), this will not happen anytime soon. Turki already has plans for Lopez to challenge Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis for his IBF and WBA welterweight titles. The match is likely to take place unless the idea veto because of its still unlimited goal of becoming an undisputed champion at 147.
During the Perse conference of Thursday, Turki mentions that he is interested in making the re -broadcast between Devin and Ryan Garcia. Given how poor both fighters fought on the 2nd map of the May 2, it would be risky for Turki to delay the Garcia-Haney Rematch.
Lopez: Too dangerous for Haney?
It is a bad idea to make Devin fight against theofimo. Lopez hits too hard and would beat Haney or make him look bad, as he did to Arnold Barboza Jr. and Josh Taylor. Lopez has too much talent for Haney, and he would strike him and mess up his plans for a re -broadcast with Ryan.
Theofimo angry Many people with his recent comment during a workout with his father. He complained that Terence Crawford did not want to fight against him and said: “Where is it (n-word)?” Lopez probably used a racial slurp to make angry Crawford enough to make him fight. That approach will not work.
Crawford is focused on getting the best paid battles he can with the little time in his career, and Theofimo is nowhere near a big enough payday for him to be tempted. Canelo Alvarez, David Banavidez, Artur Betterbiev, Dmitri Bivol and Jaron Ennis are the money fights for Crawford.
Haney must stick to the Garcia Rematch. If that doesn’t happen next, he has to tackle another old veteran and make sure he doesn’t move as much as he did during his collision against Ramirez.
I’m tired of too-how and his racist remarks .. @Turki_alshikh Let us make it happen @Toofimolopez 147
