Hamzah Sheeraz says a fight between him and Canelo Alvarez may remain for early 2026, despite the Mexican star’s loss of Terence Crawford last Saturday night. Sheeraz (22-0-1, 18 COs) are uncertain whether Canelo wants to return to the ring in February.
Hamzah mentions that he wants to fight Crawford (42-0, 31 COs) for his four super-middleweight belts next if he doesn’t get the Canelo battle. He is the WBC compulsory for that belt.

Sheeraz says he will be open to fighting Diego Pacheco for one of the world titles or in a title defense. However, he doubts that Pacheco will stay at 168 much longer because he quickly outgrows the division.
