On Saturday night, July 12, at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, Fight fans saw a perfect example of when waste stack went wrong, while Hamzah Sheeraz Edgar “The Cose One” Berlanga (23-2, 18 CO’s) stopped in the fifth round.
During the promotion part of the event, Edgar Berlanga benefited from every opportunity he received to Hamzah Sheeraz. While Berlanga did all the talk outside the ring, Sheeraz made a definite statement in the square circle.
At the first press conference of the fight, Berlanga seized his first opportunity to violate Sheeraz. After participating in the face-off, Berlanga decided to take a step back and fire imaginary shots towards Sheeraz.
If a guest on the show entitled ‘Face Off’, Berlanga was asked if he was serious when he said he would knock out Shezaz in the first round, and he replied by saying, ‘If he’s going to fight, you’re going to see. It’s different. It’s different. Bro, I’m telling you it’s different, Bro. ‘
As a guest in the radio show ‘The Breakfast Club’, Berlanga was asked about the weaknesses of Sheeraz, and he replied by saying, ‘He is soft brother, he is a soft man. He is from the UK, so if you bring them to this side, it’s different. ‘
At the last press conference, Edgar Berlanga doubled at his prediction of the first round by saying, “You know I’m the king of the 1st round. You know I’m the king, so I’m going to touch that n*gga jaw, f ** kin giraffe.”
In conclusion of the final press conference, Edgar Berlanga and Hamzah Sheeraz participated in a final face-off. Berlanga went back to disrespect mode when he put his fist on Sheeraz’s jaw.
Edgar Berlanga benefited from every opportunity he had to troll for his opponent. During one of his workouts, Berlanga had multitasking as he trained while talking about Sheeraz.

On a 45 -second battle to go in the fourth round, Sheeraz Berlanga dropped when he landed a hard left hook, followed by a quick fire combination. Berlanga could get up, and the game continues.
Seconds later, Berlanga was hit by another powerful combination that caused him to fall first on the canvas. Again, Berlanga was able to get up while the clock sounded to end the fourth round.
At the beginning of the fifth round, Sheeraz landed a three-punch combination that dropped Berlanga for the third time. Again, Berlanga was able to get up, but the referee stepped in to stop the competition.
With the victory, Hamzah Sheeraz (22-0-1, 18 COs) made a big statement. In addition to making an emphatic statement in the ring, Sheeraz became the WBC number one of a super-middleweight contender.
Hamzah Sheeraz took all the negativity that was thrown at him, and he handled it with dignity and class. He then continued his business-like approach to Fight Night by executing his game plan and achieving the great victory.
During the promotion of the fight, Berlanga’s incidents laughed, but he became humble in the ring, and Sheeraz got the last laugh. The Sheeraz vs. Berlanga match became a perfect example of the term ‘action speaks louder than words.’
