As middleweight, he immediately became a rising contender, and now Hamzah Sheeraz is trying to make an immediate impact on the super-middle weight, as he intends to take the highly acclaimed contender for the 168 pound Edgar Berlanga (23-1, 18 COs).
This interesting attack on the Ring Magazine July 12 card is a WBC title -Liminator that will take place at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. Sheeraz will try to make an immediate impact in his debut at Super Middleweight.
Hamzah Sheeraz, from Ilford, England, is a British boxer of Pakistani descent. He made his pro-debut in September 2017 in Copper Box Arena in London, England, when he defeated Duane Green via TKO from the second round.
Sheeraz would continue to improve its resume by winning its next 18 battles. He received national notoriety when he took part in the match in June 2024 against Queensberry 5 vs 5 event which took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
When the time was about to fall into the 10th round, Sheeraz made contact with a real hook his opponent, Austin “Ammo” Williams, sent to the canvas. Williams got up while the bell sounded to end the tithing.
At the beginning of the eleventh round, Sheeraz Williams hit with a flurry of hard shots the referee forced to step in and stop the competition. After achieving a quality victory, Sheeraz fought for European gold.
Eleven seconds in the attack, Sheeraz landed a hard left hook that sent his opponent, Tyler Denny, to the canvas. Denny could get up, but in the last minute of the second round, Denny was hit with a wave of pushing while he was braid for a second time.
Denny was able to get up again, but the referee chose to stop the competition. After winning the European middleweight title, Sheeraz increased its ambitions to the world title level, while challenging WBC middleweight champion Carlos Adames.
Defending champion Carlos Adames was the aggressor because he constantly pushed forward, but the challenger Hamzah Sheeraz landed the cleaner shots. After the 12-round world title competition, the attack was declared a split draw.
Now the 25-year-old Hamzah Sheeraz (21-0-1, 17 CO’s) is moving to 168 to encounter Edgar Berlanga. This July 12 is a battle between two pulses. The last time he competed within the square circle, Edgar Berlanga suffered his first career loss when Canelo Alvarez defeated him with unanimous decision.
Hamzah Sheeraz plans to expand Berlanga’s loss of loss when facing each other on July 12. In this battle, Sheeraz is very focused because he feels he is underestimated and he has something to prove.
At the New York press conference, Berlanga tried to intimidate Sheeraz by firing imaginary shots in his direction. Berlanga’s intimidation tactics and his aggressive remarks do not like Sheeraz because he believes he will stop Berlanga.
“I’ve learned a lot since my last fight, not just inside the ring, but also outside. I’m going to go there, throw a few stitches, get a right hand upright on the chin and beat him the f ***. ‘
