Grigor Dimitrov Aims for a new start with a new training ally.
34-year-old Dimitrov announced today that he has been separated with the coach of a long time Jaime Delgadowho previously trained Andy Murray.

“After a few years and great achievements together Jaime Delgado and I have decided to share friendly ways,” Dimitrov posted in his Instagram stories today. “I wish him the best in his future efforts.
“I am excited to start fresh after this time that I have dedicated my healing completely. I look forward to returning soon to play.”

Last month, Dimitrov withdrew from the US Open while he continues recovery from a partial rupture of his pectoral muscles he suffered while leading world no. Jannik Sinner 6-3, 7-5, 2-2 in Wimbledon round in July.
The withdrawal ended Dimitrov’s magnificent leadership of the 58 successive appearances of Grand Slam dating from Australian Open 2011. Dimitrov held the longest strip of successive clashes played between active men and fifth longest in the history of the open era. Director of open tournament Mutua Madrid and friend Dimitrov Feliciano Lopez owns the longest belt with 79 successive Grand Slams clashes. This belt ended in 2022.

Dimitrov, who won the Boys Wimbledon Boys and US Open Open championship, fell in the queue, reached the Flushing Meadows quarter -finals in 2024, leaning on Frances Tiifoe.
A US Open 2019 semifinalist Dimitrov has contested the semifinals into three of the four Grand Slam tournaments, including Wimbledon and Australian Open 2014 2014.
