AGE Is everything
Golf Channel/NBC Partnership announcement with Good Good Comes the same week network and YouTubers will collaborate in a TV broadcast by WM Phoenix Open. For the second year right, the Nokaut of Good Good GolfNow presented by Underdog (legendary sponsorship activation) will be broadcast on Wednesday evening on Golf Channel and Good Good YouTube Channel from Grass Clippings facility in Tempe, presenting a competition Among Stars Good’s Good’s, other Golf content creators and some “current and previous players”.
The extended partnership will have more good golf events in the NBC network family, a group leader’s development, Garrett Clark, hinted at an interview in Colin and Samir Show At the end of last year.
“They’re doing our events,” Clark said then. “The live events we broadcast go to Pallua as well as on YouTube.”
Nb-see that
The partnership represents a wonderful admission to Golf Channel/NBC in a way: Golf makers on YouTube are reaching a traditional TV audience cannot. The same audience gap functions in the other direction, which is part of why the deal to bring good to Golf Channel/NBC makes so much sense for both parties.
While it is easy to find the last void on YouTube, the penetration is that youtube is reaching an audience outside the traditional golf demography. This is extremely valuable for networks like Golf Channel, which have fallen victim to the same head head in the face of the rest of the cable TV industry in the Cordon Cutting Age.
If once like this week’s event, help new viewers at GC, then it is worth the cost of production.
Okay… well?
The benefit for GG, in addition to a national television attention, is the opportunity to diversify the brand business. The Good Good Good Wing is a good oil car, but its support in algorithm on youtube makes it vulnerable. (See: The rapid shrinkage of Buzzfeed After the Facebook algorithm changes after the 2016 elections.) This is why much of the good business relies on clothing and clothing. If the GG vision works, those businesses will direct the revenue independently of the YouTube algorithm.
Owner
TGL ownership has become the Golf version of the FTX brand ambassador: Evermbody you know has it, and no one can really explain what it means.
The Good Good with Lagc Agreement is the latest gang, though this capital action seems to have a more practical implementation for TGL. There are many natural overlays between the Good Good Good and type of promotional work that shakes with the TGL mission with its non-tiger or-goal exclusivities.
An area will not see overlap? Commodity. Good Good has made no secret to her desire to be a long -term equipment and clothing company, but each of the TGL players is forced by their big partnerships of great clothing and equipment while playing in front of an imitation . In other words, do not expect to see Collin Morikawa in a good hat at any time soon.
