Every player thinks they know which club costs them more shots. Most will tell about the driver skull. But when we look at the numbers, the reality is a little different.
We have analyzed the data to identify which clubs cost statistically to the biggest players. Stretch It gave us the opportunity to get into the data obtained from the handicap and while I would like to say that the results are shocking, they are actually many what you would expect. However, seeing the numbers paints a clear view of where players of all skill levels lose the ground more.
25 handicap
For a 25-handicap golf player, the 5-Hakuri is the biggest crash loser in the bag. On average, it costs -0.373 swing strokes compared to a scratch player. This is a steep penalty for a single stroke.
Long handcuffs Require the swing speed, precise contact and close distribution, all things with higher disabilities fight the most.
By comparison, the wedge of the putter and the gap is much more efficient, costing less strokes for effort and serving as reliable tools to keep manageable results.

20 handicap
When your handicap falls to a 20, 5-Hekuri continues to withdraw the results down, losing –0.328 rhythm strokes. While not as heavy as for the 25 handicaps, he still represents a high -risk club. For most players at this level, replacing the 5th Herkuri with a hybrid or higher road tree of the road is likely to save shots.
Putter remains the most efficient club, with the gap wedge following closely.

15 handicap
For Handicap middle players, the same trend holds. Costs 5-Heat –0.276 rhythm stroke. As the ball hit improves at this level, long iron still requires accuracy that most players cannot constantly deliver.
The gap and putter still store more strokes.

5 handicap
Even for 5-hand players, the 5-Hakur remains the weakest performer at –0.136 rhythm blows. The gap in the strokes obtained compared to that of a scratch player is much smaller at this level. Here is where we see that skilled players are treating their 5-healing much better, but it is not yet a shock club.
At this level, Putter remains the most efficient club and 3-wood is united as another strong performer.

Scratched golfists
Even scratch players are not immune to the 5th battles. Still on average –0.062 rhythm strokes compared to the first initial base (yes, even the best of the best loss of land with it). The difference is small, but it proves that the 5-Hakur remains unforgivable regardless of the level of skills.
What is more interesting is that, for scratch players, the driver and 3-wood actually produce pOSITIVE Strokesgageed, making them the only group where the long game really becomes a tool than an obligation.

The final receipt
Across each handicap, 5-Hekuri constantly devotes to the most striking players. Losses decrease while ability improves, but even scratch players cannot turn it into a net positive. Meanwhile, putters predominate as the most efficient club for almost every group, with drivers and 3-druru becoming more and more valuable as they increase skill levels.
Lower line: If you are looking to save strokes, throw 5-heaven. Change it for a hybrid or Road -tree.
