As Nerd gear, it is rare for me to find some of the equipment I feel like I can’t live without.
I love my Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond Tour Driver (If not the length of her name!), But I have received spare copies as well. I love my habit Toulon chicago Putter, but I have other dwellings that make their way to my startup rotation. The same goes for every other club in my bag – this year I have changed all my players several times. There is only a piece of dresses that I haven’t changed this year, and that’s my golf ball: Golf staff Wilson Model X.
Wilson Model X staff came to me by surprise, but not coincidence. I am a great believer in Suitable tool of Ballnamic golf ballwhich ping developed as an impartial ball test platform. The process is simple: you enter your starting monitor data, the more accurate the better and answer some other questions about your preferences and game, and the program draws the ball recommendations for you. My tips from there: grab a sleeve of each model and try them in the course with as many different clubs and shots.

Confidence through control
When I moved on to Ballamik’s mounting, I was surprised to see that I suggested Wilson Staff Model X as one of my matches, along with Pros v1x of title And Callaway’s Chrome Tour X. I tested all three in the course compared to my previous gamer (Tayormade TP5X), and while all three balls live in a higher spin category than TP5X, Wilson changed from others in startling ways.
The first benefit-and with the most important certainty-for me was the control and I felt that this ball gave me on shots with short games. It is not too gentle, but it sounds excellent and provides inspirational reactions to influence. From the first pair of shooting I hit with Model X staff, I felt 100 percent in my ball control. High and prominent runners, low runners, low checkers, tumblers from rough thick – the ball seemed to always do exactly what I thought would do. There are no surprises.
However, what impressed me most was the stability of the ball flying outside and in longer handcuffs. As someone living in periphery of Aroikagos and plays tight courses lined with trees With winds 20 mph on a good day, I can confirm that this ball can take less care of the environment in which you are playing. In the wind is about half a club longer than the other options I tested; Downwind does not leave you unexpected; And the intersections of the intersection are almost non-existent of this golf ball. In wet days or mornings worn, it is also not thrown into short cuffs. All of this has unlocked me a ability to stand up in a tea or over a longer stroke in a green and feel like I’m in full control.
Sustainability
Another thing I like a lot about this ball: it’s stable for the feeling it offers. I have no problem passing between just two balls over a round, and when there is a small mark or noise in a ball, I have not seen any degradation in performance or flight, which is a new paranoia that I developed after testing some other options. I am usually staggering for balls over the course of the game, and I will spend half a dozen or more a round due to nicknames and scrap, but since switching to Staff Model X, I have been rotating fewer balls.
Why does it work (for me)
The Wilson staff model contains an essential composition that allows for a stronger compression scale while maintaining the ability to properly transfer the ball properly and effectively the amount of club face energy. X is also one of several balls that aims to be high rotation AND High start. Typically you will see balls in the highest rotation category launched slightly lower, as the marriage of the characteristics between the rolling in release is generally stabilized with lower flying balls, with high roll balls and higher rotating balls. Particularly out of tee, you can see the difference in starting Model X staff over others in its category.
The ball has finished the Wilson 3six2 Urethan cover, which pairs impressive durability with wedge rotary tones and shots with short games while also increasing the rotation in cuffs (which I love). The layer has a 362 dense model. This may not seem a lot for you, but think how small a ball is (Titerist Pro V1x has 348 pallor). I have a hunt, this is where my feeling of control comes, as well as the stability of the ball in the air and through the wind.
