This crucial La Liga clash on March 21, 2026 saw both teams desperate for points. Llevant (19th, 23 points) tried to climb, while Oviedo (20th, 21 points) wanted to avoid deepening the struggles.
The home side wasted no time, with Carlos Espí opening the scoring in the 4th minute with a well-placed finish. Espí then doubled his tally in the 25th minute, slotting home to give Levante a two-goal lead.
Oviedo, however, showed resilience and returned to the game shortly before the break. Ibrahima Chaira scored in the 44th minute, reducing the visitors’ deficit.
The drama escalated into first-half stoppage time. Federico Viñas calmly converted a penalty in the 45+3 minute, surprisingly leveling Oviedo heading into the break.
