Novak Djokovic Has returned to the hunt for a possible 25th career title in Roland-Garros this year.
However, the great of all time is still sad that his long -term rivals Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, AND Andy Murray They are no longer on the tournament to motivate it for even more greatness.
The three-time Roland-Garros champion spoke to the press on Monday before his first round match in Paris.
Formerly -Bota Nr. 1 Gjokovic, 38, is still celebrating his 100th title of the career tour that he won in Geneva against Hubert Hurkacz.
It was a rapid turn for Djokovic, who traveled from Geneva to Paris in time to attend the 14 -time tribute ceremony Rafael Nadal, who withdrew last year.
“It was a busy day yesterday and a very beautiful, wonderful day. Of course it wins the 100th title, this is a beautiful historical moment, of course, definitely very necessary for my game and the level of trust coming to Roland Garros,” Djokovic said.

For Djokovic, this made him realize that the end of his tennis career is likely to come out sooner than later.
“Well, I want to say, I honestly think about my end of the road, as well as last night or yesterday when we were looking at Rafa’s speech, especially those moments when we were in the back room, all three of us, and I was right, yes, definitely talking to Feder and Murray about their good and recapture and reflecting on the rival But I’m going, but I’m going, but I’m going, but I’m going, but I’m going, but I’m going, but I’m going but I’m going, but I was going, but I’m going, but I was going to go. It was my biggest motivations as to why I competed so intensely and for that long.

Gjokovic added to his rivals “Big Four”, “Although we were the toughest rivals, it is that personal touch that is there when you pour your heart into trial, as he did yesterday. Almost almost impossible that does not touch you deeply.
“This is what we basically said, you know when we were in court. It was really great. And Kudo and credit to Roland Garros to do an amazing job, you know, to celebrate Rafa.”
Djokovic, seed no. 6 This year in Roland-Garros, faces America MacKenzie McDonald in the first round.
