“Well, we agreed to work by the end of the Argila season, so we’ll see what happens after that,” Djokovic media told Doha.
The twice Olympic Champion of the Gold Medal Murray and the reign of the Olympic Champion of the Gold Medal, Djokovic is expected to be reunited in the Indian Wells next month. Murray was not in Doha this week.
Given the world No. 1 Jannik Sinner is currently serving a three-month suspension, Gjokovic will be a dangerous threat if he can find his range and rhythm after healing from a muscle tear in the left foot which forced him to retire after an Australian semifinal group open.
Working with Murray, Gjokovic said his main mission is to stay healthy and do what he does better in the largest stages of the sport.
“My game will not change now drastically. I will not play service and volleyball, maybe every time, but my game is what it is, the essence will be the same,” Djokovic told media in Doha . “I will try, of course, fit depending on the surface I play in a row and so on.
“So yes, there are more injuries, surely. Things are not the same as 10 years ago, 15 years ago. I still try to take care of my body every day, and, yes, is more challenging now, no Doubt, but, you know, I still try to do my best, given the circumstances. “
