Back in January, Gjokovic was forced to retire with a left -wing tears injury in his semifinals against eventual finalist Alexander Zverev.
After the match, Gjokovic was not committed if he would continue with Murray, though he thought his initial work with Murray had been “positive”.
“I don’t know. We were both disappointed with what happened, so we didn’t talk about the next steps. We were so fresh from the court. I will definitely have a conversation with Andy, and thank him he was here, ”Gjokovic said at his press conference after the match.
