George Groves: ‘Tall Order’ for Terence Crawford to defeat Canelo Alvarez with the Super -Middelweight due to the size of the size

George Groves believes it will be a ‘long order’ for the smaller fighter, Terence Crawford, to defeat Canelo Alvarez on September 13 at Super MiddeeWeight, given Canelo’s natural great advantage.

Crawford’s 168 pounds

Former WBA 168-pound champion Groves loves Crawford’s skills, but he thinks it’s a lot for him to come up at 14 pounds of 154 to challenge Canelo (63-2-2, 39 COs) for his undisputed championship at Netflix at Allegiant Stage in Las Vegas.

Crawford believes he can overcome the size of Canelo, but it will be difficult to do.

There is also age concern. Crawford is 37 and not in his prime years, and his movement has delayed. He is now forced to swallow more with his opponents than he ever did from 2008 to 2013.

Madrimov contest showed Crawford’s restrictions

We saw the extent of the penalty forced to endure in his last fight, and moved up after 154 against ‘Little GGG’ Israil Madrimov. Crawford hit more in that battle than he ever had in his career, and then looked like the loser. Interestingly, Terence still refuses to admit that he met his match in that fight. He does not want to confront the truth.

Going from that battle to two divisions to fight Canelo is an almost impossible task for Crawford. If he wants to win seriously, he places himself behind the eight ball by skipping 160, not taking a setup at 168, and putting out of the ring for a year of waste.

Finance drives Crawford to Canelo

Many wise fans believe that Crawford’s pursuit of the Canelo battle is exclusively for financial reasons, with the aim of obtaining a $ 50 million massive payday that will enable him to live a luxury life after retiring to his vast palatial estate in Omaha, Nebraska.

Crawford’s Tall Order vs. Canelo

“It’s going to be a difficult one for the smaller man (Crawford). I think the size is definitely a big role in this. Things can happen, but it’s a big order for Crawford to beat Canelo on Super Middleheight, ‘George Groves says to the Ring Magazine Youtube Channel, who gives his short thoughts on the Canelo against Crawford match on September 13.

Turki Alalshikh’s insistence on wanting fighters to wake more in his fights, Crawford places in a position where he will have to beat Canelo at his own game by hitting him. It will be difficult to do if Crawford shows no power to move to 154, and he has sat inactive for a year, lost muscles and waited against Canelo on that payday.
