It’s a two-way tie atop the leaderboard heading into the weekend at the Genesis Invitational, with England’s Marco Penge sharing the 36-hole lead with American Jacob Bridgeman at 12 under.
However, just behind them is a list of big name winners. Rory McIlroy trails by one at 11 under, while Xander Schauffele and Adam Scott are three shots back.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler produced a powerful shot to make the cut on Friday after an uncharacteristically poor start to his opening round on Thursday. A second-round 68 moves him back to even par overall and T42 with two rounds remaining.
