GB team for European Insurance Athletics Championship
The United Kingdom has chosen 44 athletes (23 men and 21 women) for the European Athletics Championship on March 6-9. In 2023, there were gold medals in Istanbul, Laura Muir, Laura Muir and AZ Ammine Saws and Six Medals in 2019 and 2021. GB won more than 12 than any other country.
However, if you look at the last three European medalists, two, strict Hodgkinson and Jazmin Sawyers retire, and Laura Muir and Katarina Johnson-Thompson did not make a choice. Last year, our medalists from our medalists in the world competed, but Josh Ker and Jemma Rake decided not to fulfill. EmmaMa said to me that it challenges in February if you intended to reach the top outside outside the world.

UKA head coach Paula Dan said.
“Historically, this has been a championship in which the British and Northern Ireland team flourished, but for the first time it is an important way to walk the athletes. When we start the LA Olympic and Paralympic cycle, it is great to see the world’s world and the Olympic medalists next to several developing athletes, which perform their GB & Ni debut. I am looking forward to the team, which climbs the challenge, reaching the PBs, to reach the final and challenge the medals in Apeloud. “
The voters added the following notes to the team:
* Laura Muir has asked not to be elected for the upcoming championship. During the last rounds of the trial during the weekend, he was injured on his calf and will not compete again.
** Long Jumper Jumob Fincham-Dukes injured in the UK’s Athletics Championships and will not participate in European closed championships.
*** Lina Nielsen has only chosen to participate in a 400 m relay team.
There is also a World Athletics Championship in Nanjing, China, which will take place from March 21 to 23. The team of this event will be elected after the Europeans.
*** Molly caudery which was originally selected now has
It was taken from the European Athletics Championships to manage
Continuous calf injury and is now focused on the world to compete
Brackish athletics championships in Nanjing.
